Fun one I ve been playing starts 1 lvl war cleric for heavy armor and a few double attacks 2 levels into abjuration wizard 2 levels warlock with armor of shadows repelling blast for control and armor of agathys then back to full wizard I find them fun because they are charismatic with the skills to back it They do great damage and you can always dip into sorcerer for a stronger magical presence Bg3 has lined them up pretty well with a lot of magical items and some of the ilithid power really make paladins even stronger

This said I must say that I have had the most fun with pure spellcaster Pure Warlock Sorcerer and Wizard and with Fighter 2 Paladin 5 Whatever My whatever was Wizard I got an equipment that made my strength fixed on 23 so I respeced and got strength down to 8 and pumped Char and Int to the max followed by Constitution Bard is the most fun for me because I like the charismatic support char and the fact that College of Lore hurls insults at everyone and everything automatically all the time is a huge plus Monk is the lots of fun to me for combat I like the punchy punchy a lot
