You will rate each performer with a score from 0 10 The average of all the judges will be the performer s final score The poem uses figurative language and or interesting vocabulary to attract the listener The poem has a structure that makes sense audibly and flows well with some form of sense and rhythm There will be four categories A Grades 1 3 B Grades 4 6 C Grades 7 8 and D Grades 9 12 Poems must be original No props costumes or musical instruments Breaking this rule is a 2 point deduction Maximum time limits for each poem in each category is as follows A one minute B two minutes C D three minutes
