Reduce Image Size Cannot find any obvious resize function in Photos for the latest Win 10 Tempted to delete Photos and retrieve Photo Gallery but surely there s a SIMPLE and quick way to resize individual pics or a selected batch in Photos

Here is something funny i found out maybe it will be helpful to troubleshoot when i set the mode to duplicate screens the resolution of the screen is dropping and snipping tools work great like this but on Second screen only the resolution increases and when using snipping tools the size of the desktop is reduced please see example in Tried various steps can t get pictures resized to display as desktop background properly Resizing with Paint does shrink the picture size but Windows 10 won t display it at the smaller size on desktop This is not a problem with Windows 7 Any fix

Given this and since the folder has now reached 43GB in size I decided to try to erase the folder I used the TreeSize free app to display all of the the C drive user and systems hidden folders It runs in administrative mode and allows unlimited access to the sub folders within the System Recovery folder which itself remains a System Resize to the size you want click File click Save to overwrite the original image as the new size click File click Save as to keep the original image add the resized image with a new name IE Test Image Save overwrites it Save as Test Image 01 keeps the original Test Image gives you a reduced Test Image 01
