In the Windows10 system configuration utility msconfig you have the option to select three different startup processes Normal Diagnostic Selective For some reason no matter what I select apply it reverts back to the Selective startup choice when I exit reboot The selective startup hangs when booting up System Configuration Utility I have had telephone support to change the way windows starts and clear my system of viruses etc I have no w received a message on my pc on each and every start up saying that the system utility is in diagnostic or selective startup mode
